Makes sense. We have an initiative coming up that will help with that; mobile (and web) users will be able to message an 'aircraft' that's active and has a paired user. I'm keen to discuss the design of this with you. However the current intent for this feature is that it will probably require internet connectivity for any users other than the one in the aircraft in question. If you are referring to the case of one pilot in flight/out of coverage wanting to message a connected user on another flight that is also out of coverage, let me know and I'll investigate how we could address that need. Thanks
Hi Brandon, thanks for sharing this idea/request. We somewhat support this in web at present, and are currently planning a new feature that builds on this capability. This project will include extending some of this functionality to Mobile as well. I will reach out directly to discuss specifics.
